Add a little Chocolate

Jade loving on her little brother. Chance enjoying the fireworks on the
4th of July.
He adores her!!
My friend Annie says that being a stay-at-home mom is like the movie Groundhog Day. We change diapers, feed little mouths, clean-up messes, play games, change more diapers and then go to sleep, only to do it all over again the next day.
In the book we have been reading this summer, Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, the author quotes Linda Andersen from her book Love Adds a Little Chocolate. I offer this as encouragement to all of us:
"Duty can pack an adequate sack lunch, but love may decide to enclose a little love note inside. . . Obligation sends the children to bed on time, but love tucks the covers in around their necks and passes out kisses and hugs (even to teenagers!). . . Duty gets offended quickly if it isn't appreciated, but love learns to laugh a lot and to work for the sheer joy of doing it. Obligation can pour a glass of milk, but quite often, love adds a little chocolate."
I'm curious, anyone have a special way you add chocolate to your day??????
P.S. Chance is crying much less and smiling much more, therefore, so am I!!!
