This is my life

For two weeks I've been trying to write my first blog. Twice I've tried to take cute pictures of my two children to post and several other times I've tried to just write something, anything. There are many other things that are being neglected right now too, but this is my life.
The main reason for this distraction is that five weeks ago we welcomed a precious baby boy into our world. Chance is eating and sleeping great, he has a full head of dark hair, he is adorable, and all three of us are in love with him. HOWEVER, unless he is sleeping or eating, he's crying. (This is why I attached this picture of our sweet baby boy, this is my life.
Jade loves her little brother and hasn't asked us to, "take him back to the hospital" yet, as another friend's child did. But she does occasionally ask me to, "put him down and hold me."
We don't leave the house much, my fridge is empty, as soon as one child goes to sleep the other wakes up, I can't complete a sentence, and my house looks like a tornado hit it. This is my life.
However, we have amazing friends that are still bringing us dinners, family and friends who put their schedules on hold to help with one or both babies, and a little girl with pigtails who can always find the pacifier.
In the future, I hope to post fun pictures and more meaningful thoughts, but until then, this is my life and I wouldn't change a thing.

congratulations on your brand new bouncing baby blog. (It won't keep you up at night, but you can't hug it).
Loved being with you guys in Llano, but we are so sorry to hear about the car expense!
Love, Jim and Susie

What am I getting myself into?!? I know baby #1 changed everything, but I keep forgetting how much #2 will change us too! You're scaring me a little!
Regardless, Chance is so precious - I wish I was there to hold him for you for a little while. I hope this stage will end quickly & your life will begin to look a little different :). Love you!

The fun has just begun. I am glad to hear the sense of humor in your blog. When all else fails, laugh. Lucky us, God will never fail us. The first fruit is love but the second is joy. You fall in love with your babies through the time you put in and eventually you will have lots of joy. I am always hear, even at a moments notice!

Hi Heather!
I found you through Julia's blog and was so glad to see that you are blogging too! It seems that there is an entire web of ACU bloggers out there, and I love getting to stay in touch this way.
Chance is absolutely precious and so is Jade! (I can't believe how much she looks like you!) Good luck with the new mommy-juggling you are doing. I've done it too, and agree that it is all worth it, even though it's the hardest job on many days! Their sweet smiles and hugs make every sleepless night worth it.
God bless your sweet family!

I'm so glad you're blogging! It's crazy, isn't it? I hope little Chance stops crying soon. How do people do this without the Lord? Chance is so cute---even crying! And of course Jade is a doll. I saw pictures of her on Julia's blog. Looking forward to keeping up with you better! Love ya--

Hi Heather!
I am excited that I can keep up with your family now!
Hang in there...life will feel normal again, in time. Each day is a step towards sanity, and this phase will be over before you know it (that might be hard to imagine now:)).
What a sweet family you have...tears and all!
